A caring partner. Brock Purdy’s wife is supporting him through and through, and has been since they were in school together. Though his career might have just kickstarted, the San Francisco 49ers Quarterback is making a name for himself—even if he was dubbed “Mr. Irrelevant” at the beginning.
“Nothing jumps out about him physically, but he’s a good, sound, fundamental, composed, consistent player. And that goes way farther than the height and weight and speed. He’s a football player,” corner Bradley Roby told NBC Sport. “He has things you can’t measure. You can’t measure heart, you can’t measure composure, you can’t measure pocket escape ability, you can’t measure anticipation, you can’t measure being a leader. All that stuff you can’t measure. That’s why he wasn’t drafted until the seventh round. Sometimes you just gotta see what somebody’s like on the field. He does a great job in his position. He does all the things he needs to do.”
Born on December 27, 1999, in Queen Creek, Arizona, Purdy has a highly athletic family. His father was a Minor League Baseball player for eight seasons, while Purdy’s older sister played softball at Southeastern University. Their younger brother Chubba was a starting quarterback at Perry before going to Florida State as a dual-threat quarterback.
Purdy started his varsity football career in 2015 as a sophomore at Perry High School and quickly established himself as a powerhouse and heading into college was deemed a three-star prospect. He signed and enrolled with Iowa State University in February 2018. Wrapping up his time at college, he finished at the Cyclones with a total of 12,170 yards and 81 touchdowns.

Brock Purdy’s wife is Jenna Brandt. They went to Iowa State University together and seemingly met at the college, where he played football while she played volleyball. “Family time is big to me. I love hanging out with my family,” Brandt said in a video for her Iowa State team, adding, “I also like to volunteer around the community.”
Brandt has been supportive of her boyfriend on the sidelines. With one of the first posts together she captioned as “Always cheering you on, babes,” Brandt captioned a photo on Instagram in October 2023 of her and Purdy hugging on the sidelines. In the comments, he replied: “My girl ❤️.”
The two announced their engagement in July 2023, “My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB!,” the quarterback captioned a series of engagement photos on Instagram. She also posted, “WE GET TO DO LIFE TOGETHER…FOREVER! Brock Purdy – I love everything about you & your heart for Jesus more than any words can say.”
Brandt celebrated her bachelorette party a week before the NFC championship. “Snowwwwww in love w/ @brock.purdy13 ❄️ Best friends in the best spot for the best weekend🤍,” she posted a series of photos in Colorado.
Jenna Brandt revealed that she and Brock Purdy got married on March 9, 2024. “Best day of our lives🤍 I get to call my best friend my HUSBAND for forever and ever!!!!” she captioned a carousel of images. The new bride also changed her username to jennapurdyy in honor of their nuptials.
