Soft Services viral hand cream, Theraplush, has been resurrected. It first launched back in 2022 and instantly reeled in a crowd of fans, all before sadly going on a temporary hiatus due to a packaging error. As of January 2024, the best-seller is back with a revamped system that users will find wholly appealing. It’s the same formula folks know and love, housed in an improved, refillable vessel.

The response to its return has been undeniably good—Theraplush sold out one week after rejoining Soft Service’s line-up. It took some time for the product to restock, but now it’s fully shoppable again (at least, long enough for those who missed the first release to grab one, that is.)

Details on the formula

As an overnight repair treatment, you’re meant to coat your hands in its high-power anti-aging, soothing ingredients before bedtime. Retinol (a level appropriate for the area’s delicate skin), colloidal oatmeal (a popular additive for those dealing with eczema) and panthenol take your hands from rough and weathered the night prior to soft and plump the following morning.

It’s a medium-dense consistency, which as far as hand creams go, is what you’ll likely want. It covers the hands in a soft, waxy layer for “manicured results,” A.K.A. you’ll notice even your cuticles appear rejuvenated.

Those looking to minimize the appearance of spotty skin, increase plumpness on thinning areas and hydrate dryness are ideal candidates for use of the hand cream. Take note, the brand does advise steering clear if you deal with highly sensitive skin.

Details on the packaging

One of the most attractive features, beyond the formula’s efficacy, is what surrounds the actual cream. It arrives in a reusable case with an airless pump that’s designed to aesthetically take place next to your bedside table, on your bathroom counter or wherever it’s likely to be seen.

Given its refillable component, the system will require at-home assembly; instructions on how to easily put it together are on the product’s page. Once you purchase the entire system, it’s yours to reuse over and over—cream refills are available for $36 each time you run out.

There’s no predicting when Theraplush will sell out next, so make like the wind and grab one for yourself now.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
