Press SampleCan it ever truly be fall without a leaf manicure? I haven’t exactly been putting off the design, but when it just feels too warm to be fall, it’s a little hard to be inspired to put the iconic fall imagery on my nails. This past weekend, however, it was a little cooler and wind was finally blowing leaves off the trees in my neighborhood. November is pretty much over, but at least it feels like fall has arrived! I decided I better take advantage of my inspiration now as I’m ready to be transitioning to holiday designs. I’m glad Mother Nature got the memo, otherwise this never would have happened this year! Before I keep on with the chatter, let me share my design!In spite of it being a 4-day “weekend”, it was pretty busy around here so I needed to get my leafy nail look created very quickly!I started off by using Cuccio Colour in the shades Hot Chocolate, Cold Day (left) and Getting Into Truffle (right), both from the combined Fall/Winter Chocolate Collection.I had picked up these pretty metallic leaf water decals/sliders by Fashion Nails at What’s Up Nails and applied them over Hot Chocolate, Cold Days. I applied a quick coat of top coat and my nails were done!I love when nail art looks come together quickly so I can go about my day and still enjoy cute nails! As I mentioned earlier in this post, I am about to switch over to holiday looks, and I doubt I’ll enjoy this look more than a few more days.
