Dove Pecan Butter Crunch is a new fragrance that launched in the Dove Holiday Treats Collection that’s available in a body wash, hand soap, deodorant, and body scrub. As you may know the Holiday Treats Collection has returned for the Fall 2024 season and it brought two new scents with it which are Pecan Butter Crunch and Apple Cider Caramel and one returning scent from last year which is Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie.
If you’ve visited (or live) in New Orleans you’re pretty much familiar with the delicious scent of Pralines and that is in fact what the new Dove Pecan Butter Crunch smells like!
I ended up purchasing the Dove Pecan Butter Crunch Body Wash, Pecan Butter Crunch Body Scrub, and the Pecan Butter Crunch Deodorant. I skipped out on the hand soap since I have SO many Bath and Body Works Hand Soaps to get through but trust me, it was hard saying no as I think this smells delicious! Last year, some of the Dove Holiday Treat scents were disappointing! For example, the Dove Sugar Cookie scent wasn’t exactly what I signed up! But this year, they did a good job on these Fall scents.
Out of the three Fall 2024 scents I’d say Pecan Butter Crunch is my favorite and worthy of a backup! It’s a beautiful caramel scent with touches of burnt sugar. I don’t get anything nutty from it but it does smell just like a praline to me! It’s heavy on the caramel with plenty of delicious sugar. The body wash creates tons of creamy lather and the scent seems to linger on my skin a bit after a shower. It’s not an exfoliating body wash like the Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie Body Wash which I prefer. The body scrub is super creamy and has fine grains to it so it isn’t a harsher scrub and provides a more gentle exfoliation and once water is applied it turns into a creamy lather.
If you love the scents of Fall (and foody, gourmand scents) I think you’ll adore the Dove Pecan Butter Crunch Collection! It smells delicious!
