I’m really into body scrubs lately and we should probably blame the weird Tiktokers for that obsession. Is anyone else a little captivated by these people on Tiktok who line their shower stalls with ceiling to floor suction cup shelves and pack Tree Hut scrubs, Bath and Body Works Shower Gels, and more onto them? I’m even surprised they can even move around in the shower with that much stuff in there.
Hey, no judgement! I’m a collector of shower gels myself. At one point, Philosophy Shower Gels were taking over my bathing life. I’ve been on a ban for a few years now and I try to keep my purchases to a minimum and use up what I have before buying more. However, that being said, I always only ever took what I would need into the shower with me and never had shelves and shelves of body washes and scrubs sitting around with me as I showered. I just can’t get passed watching all that stuff get wet. It feels like the jars and bottles would get moldy.
Anyway, I digress! I got carried away thinking about when I was discussing body scrubs and my little obsession with them! My current passion is Lush Orange Body Scrub! She’s a keeper!
If there was such a thing as an orange margarita it would smell like this zesty, sweet body scrub! This smells like fresh squeezed oranges with a hint of sea salt! It’s delicious! And such a great morning pick me up in the AM! I avoided purchasing this for a while as I thought it smelled like Karma but it smells just like fresh squeezed orange! But it doesn’t only smell pretty it actually works great on dry knees, elbows, and feet!
Created with sea salt and orange this scrub is deliciously hydrating and scrubs away dry skin in a snap. User beware it does make your shower a bit slippery and it does have a slick feel on skin but it washes clean away!
It starts out as a harsher scrub but add a little water and it’ll produce a light lather and breaks down the sea salt giving a beautiful scrub to all your dry areas. It leaves my skin SUPER smooth and soft. My elbows have never been so soft in their entire lives since I started using this!
